We LOVE that rush you get when you tie off and trim those last threads, and you finally get to take a step back and have a look at your finished quilt!
This week I had a special finish, because not only do I get to share this quilt with you, but in the VERY near future, we will be offering a weekend class to make this quilt together.
If only I’d ironed it to get rid of that crease! Sorry folks.
This quilt pattern is called Lucky, and is designed by Allison Harris of Cluck Cluck Sew. You can see her original quilts with this pattern here and here. The fabric I used is a jelly roll of “Tucker Prairie” by One Canoe Two, and a grey Moda Linen for the front, with Tula Pink’s Free Fall on the back and a little navy for the binding. This one was pieced on my little Bernina 350PE, and quilted on the long arm in the shop with a lovely leafy pattern.
Even more exciting is that we have another sample on the way…
And don’t forget about our bag class! It’s on this coming Saturday! Details in the previous blog post.
So stay tuned for more fun finishes and class dates!
